How your charity wedding favours from Dogs Trust will make a difference

Looking for suggestions for wedding favours? Choose Dogs Trust charity wedding favours, and help make a difference. As you and your guests celebrate your special day, you'll also be lending a helping paw to dogs in need across Ireland.

 Your guests can take home our unique marriage favours, knowing you've contributed to veterinary treatment, behavioural training, warm and cosy bedding, nutritious food, and, most importantly, love and cuddles for the dogs in our care until they find their forever home. Your generous donation provides life-changing care for hundreds of our furry friends. We truly appreciate your support, and we know the dogs do too!

Last year, thanks to donations like yours:

- 1,042 dogs were rehomed: Thanks to your generosity, we’ve found loving homes for over a thousand dogs.
-  Including 71 underdogs: These were dogs who have been in our care for six months or more, now enjoying their forever families.
- 637 mums and pups were cared for: Dog lovers provide a safe haven for mums and their vulnerable puppies who need specialist care.
- 934 free educational workshops delivered: We provide resources for adults and children to learn about dogs, promoting responsible pet ownership.

How to create your custom wedding favours

We provide personalised wedding favour cards featuring your names and wedding date. These cards also include a note inside informing your guests of your generous donation to Dogs Trust and how it helps. You can select from one of our lovely designs or upload an image of your own furry best friend. If you are uploading your own image, be sure to follow our image guidelines below.

It's a simple and fast process. You'll need to provide us with just a few quick details about your day, such as your names as you wish them to appear on the card, the wedding date, quantity, and your chosen design.

Product Details:

- High quality 300 gram white card
- 100mm wide x 70mm height
- No minimum quantity

Are you choosing a custom photo of your dog for your wedding favours? We want your cards to look as pawsome as possible, so please follow these guidelines when you’re choosing your photo.

Image must be landscape in layout, i.e the photo should be horizontal, wider than it is high. The area for the photo on the final printed cards is 100 mm wide x 650 mm high.

The sample image above shows where your photo will need to fit. Images with a square or portrait layout will not fit into the printable area on these cards - all images must be cropped to a landscape layout before being uploaded.

 The minimum size for photos is 1,000 pixels high x 650 pixels wide.

Dos and don'ts for choosing your photo

Do

- Do use clear, sharp photos for the best print results
-  Only use well-lit images. Overly dark or light photos will not print well.
-  Upload the original photo rather than a screengrab

Don’t

- Don’t upload screengrabs or images downloaded from social media, as the quality is usually poor. Instead, find the original photo that you took yourself, or take a new photo.
- Don’t upload blurry or fuzzy images, as they will not print well
- Don’t use overly dark images, as dark images don’t look good when printed
- Don’t take small images and stretch them to a larger size, as that will result in a poor quality print


Please note that the Dogs Trust Shop cannot be held responsible for the quality of the final printed product if the instructions above are not followed, and a poor quality image is uploaded.
