Home-Bound Hound Checks– A Gift for a Dog in Our Care

When an abandoned dog finds a loving new home, everyone at our centre celebrates. But before we say a fond farewell, we always make sure each dog has had a full health check to ensure they’re ready for their next adventure. 

Every dog has:  

• A visit to the vets – our vet team will look for all the signs of a healthy dog and get to the bottom of any health concerns. 

• Deworming and flea treatments (if required) –  to keep them healthy and free from discomfort, while also preventing the bugs from spreading.

• Essential vaccinations – we make sure they’re up-to-date with their vaccinations to protect them against common doggy diseases. 

Once they have a full clean bill of health and have found their perfect match, we love to see them leave our care and start their next chapter.
